GoBoats are powered by solar energy, recycled batteries and a smart electric engine. With a speed of 6-7 km/h the small blue boats move slowly and silently through the canals of European cities. The maritime spirit creates a sanctuary in a urban context and the boats act as a platform for cultural and sustainable experiences on the water and introduces a natural and authentic way of being together. Everyone can sail a GoBoat and they do not require any certificate or prior experience with sailing. You are captain of your own boat and have the freedom to sail - almost - wherever you want - without polluting. The boats can accommodate up to 8 people in an ergonomic layout where all the seats face a picnic table providing a social and intimate experience. The Aesthetically designed GoBoats are partly made from recycled plastic bottles, the picnic table is made of environmentally-friendly wood, and development is ongoing to create the worlds first recycled composite structure for the boat.
