FarmDroid is the world's only fully automated robot that can perform both sowing and mechanical weed control. FarmDroid FD20 is a solar-powered field robot that, using a GPS signal, marks the location of the crops when sowing, and subsequently performs mechanical weed control both between and in the rows. The four solar panels produce power for a battery pack, and ensure up to 24 hours of daily CO2 neutral operation.
