Unzipped
Unzipped is sex education reshaped for the modern world
The Australian curriculum for sex education has ceased to change over the last decade despite new laws in place that accommodate same-sex couples and radically changing views as our world becomes more open to those who embrace different identities. The slow process of public policy making means that technology has become a resource for filling in the gaps left by sparse sex education curriculum. Technology has the ability to take the awkwardness and shame out of the "birds and bees" talk and encourage more sex-positive conversations, encouraging teenagers to seek advice from factual sources and professionals when they want information, and how they want it. Challenging the stigma of sex, love, health and relationships, Unzipped aims to provide a platform for young adults to start the conversation.
