Steps to Energy
»Steps to Energy« is designed to produce and store energy in a playful manner during dancing.
»Steps to Energy« is designed to produce and store energy in a playful manner during dancing and to manage it autonomously.
The »Steps to Energy« dance mat uses ionic technology to convert the energy transmitted by dance steps to the mat into electricity.
The pressure exerted by the feet on the dance mat during dancing causes positive and negative ions to rub against each other, thus producing energy.
The ionic technology possesses a high energy potential.
The electricity produced per 10 dancing steps is 30 Watt.
As this value increases exponentially, the dance mat can be used to generate an enormous amount of energy.
This electricity is stored in three batteries.
Each battery can be used as a light source or as a power socket for various equipment.
The batteries and the dance mat are of compact design and ideal for use as mobile power generation elements.
The »Steps to Energy« dance mat is suitable for people of any age, including persons with physical disabilities.
