Land of Water
Radio soap opera with multiple reflections on the importance of life and the environment.
Although it constitutes one of the main engines of the country's economy, mining in Colombia has brought negative factors to some territories: soil, water and air pollution, loss of ecological niches, community division, generation of violence, conflicts over the land tenure and ignorance of territorial autonomy. With the purpose of paying tribute to the victims of conflicts in defense of natural resources and their own territory, but at the same time, with the aim of promoting the protection of ecosystems, Land of Water (Tierra de Agua) is created, a radio soap opera with multiple reflections on the importance of life and the environment. It talks about a people's love for their territory and the struggle of the communities to protect the moorland (páramo) from the interests of a powerful multinational mining company that has full support from the national government.
