Objectualities
Invitation to reflect on the objects, contexts and situations that define our daily life
Objectualities is a project that invites us to reflect on what really defines our daily life. It is about all the objects, contexts and situations that we live day by day but that we overlook as something insubstantial, mundane and infra-ordinary. This design project studies and visualizes the personalities that objects acquire in their daily use and relationships. Through case studies, different personalities were found in everyday objects, which gave way to the following pieces: Methodical table A surface that by means of a grid of magnets ensures that the objects placed on it are always aligned. Dependent chair A bench that responds to the Wi-Fi signal, inviting you to move it to a place with a better connection before sitting on it. These objects are material representations that highlight contextual attitudes of objects in an extraordinary way, highlighting some of the ways we relate to everyday objects.
