Earth Species Project was founded in 2017 and is an open-source collaborative project dedicated to decoding animal communication. We believe that an understanding of non-human languages will change our ecological impact on this planet. We are building an open-source toolkit, data sets, benchmarks, and community for unsupervised translation that incorporates a focus on non-human languages with state-of-the-art academic research.
