Play Food from the Future
A set of toys developed to get children more familiar with the sustainable foods of the future.
To trigger curiosity about sustainable food and the WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award, Happy F&B + Forsman & Bodenfors created a new set of play food toys. They aim to spark a discussion around what is considered food and not, challenge the ‘yuck factor’ and hopefully open up both children's and parents' minds. No mass-producing or shipping, the toys are free to download at the website. The recommendation is to 3D-print them in PLA, a carbon-neutral material. Each toy represents a new dish or ingredient, that might take some time getting used to. Like insects, algae and powder.
