Every Blockhouse is completely modular, this allows us to create safe and affordable housing that has very minimal site disturbance. The Blockhouse modular design is flexible and adaptable, making nontraditional build sites perfect matches for the Blockhouse. Cross Laminated Timber or CLT is a major component to the Blockhouse story. CLT is a Eco-friendly, large-scale, prefabricated wood panel. It is lightweight, strong and boasts superior fire, seismic, and thermal performance. CLT is a sustainable building material and can help build a brighter sustainable future. We teamed up with Avista Utilities and Perry Street Brewery to place solar panels on top of the brewery building, this is very unique because we are using an adjacent building to supply solar energy to the Blockhouse’s.
