AHĀ-NEK started as a playful experiment, trying to solving a problem while giving us the chance to work with a natural material we both loved, wood. It ended up as a refined application of functionality, curiosity and craftsmanship, that fills in a gap in the market. AHĀ-NEK is cloth hanger made to protect clothing pieces with necks and fixed collars. Consisting of two interlocking, wooden sticks, the hanger slides easily in and out any garment’s neck, without stretching it. How to use: IN a. Hold the hanger with the thin stick slightly pulled out. b. Position the thick part under the neck of the cloth. c. Let the thin drop in. d. Ready to hang! OUT a. Pull the thin part slightly out. b. Let the thicker part freely rotate. c. The cloth drops out. d. Ready to wear!
