Our mission is to improve transparency, accountability, and cost-effectiveness of remote water, energy, and infrastructure projects to improve health and quality of life. SweetSense Inc. develops and deploys technologies to manage water and energy services in remote, off-grid environments. Our low-cost satellite-connected sensors are compatible with a wide range of fixed infrastructure. Leveraging machine learning, we enable responsive remote management of water and energy resources. Daily, we are monitoring over 2 million people’s water supplies in East Africa, helping to reduce humanitarian drought emergencies. In California, we are enabling farmers to comply with the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act. We have strategic partnerships with IBM Research and satellite network provider Swarm Technologies, and support from the National Science Foundation and the United States Agency for International Development.
