We want to introduce you to our sunglasses made from Ocean Waste Plastic. We take plastic directly from the ocean and reuse it to make our sunglasses frame. All of our frames are made from 100% Ocean Waste Plastic. One pair of sunglasses removes 1 kg of plastic directly from the ocean. You might be thinking “1 kg of plastic, that’s a lot of weight”, but don’t worry, the sunglasses do not weigh 1 kg. In order to get enough quality plastic from the ocean to produce one pair of our sunglasses, we need to collect 1 kg of OWP. But not all of the plastic goes into our sunglasses. We take what we can use and the rest gets recycled into other products - great right? As a Danish founded company we value design, high quality & sustainability. After having seen how plastic and other materials can harm our planet, we decided to take action. After almost 2 years of testing, small alterations and redesigning models we have found the right combo to be able to produce our sunglasses.
