Heritage of nature
Unuseful plant wastes are used to dye fabrics so both circular and healthier fabrics are produced.
As Elyaf Tekstil, we are working on producing sustainable fabrics. At this point, while we are searching for new sustainable production alternatives, we found an answer to the very question of how to further our efforts in sustainability, is actually hidden in the not too distant past of humanity: "Natural dyeing". We adapted natural dyeing process in industrial scale in more sustainable way. Plants are coming from the wild and picking up by hand by villagers and are made powdered. Only local plants and plant wastes are used for this project. We’ve made some modifications on dyeing machine to make it suitable for natural dying. We use unique technique which is patent pending. Most important part of the project is we make extraction, mordanting and dyeing at the same time instead of 3 process steps as in conventional method.
