Alongside growers and buyers, we are building a system responsive to demands for high quality and sustainably produced food and fiber. Indigo develops microbial and digital technologies that improve grower profitability, environmental sustainability, and consumer health. These technologies underpin its pioneering business model, which spans agriculture’s full value chain. Our challenge is two fold: we must increase our planet’s capacity to produce food, and we must do so in a sustainable and responsible manner that complements while gradually replacing the technologies that are responsible for much of our recent gains. We believe that the plant microbiome and digital technologies can fundamentally change agriculture for the better, and we are motivated to maximize that potential.
