Armory of Harmony
We smelt down tens of thousands decommissioned firearms and transform them into musical instruments
Backstory
There are more firearms in the United States than humans beings. Over 389 million are in the hands of everyday citizens. Of this number, hundreds of thousands that are no longer wanted, deactivated or decommissioned. We give these guns a new purpose and to ensure safe learning environments and support strong youth music programs.
Armory of Harmony also supports and kickstarts music education programs in addition to running anti-violence and musician 2 musician programs with schools.
How
City programs and police to collect unwanted and decommissioned weapons from around the country. We shred and smelt them into raw ingots. Then we refine the ingots to production quality bars and work with our manufacturing partners to utilize the metal to make and brand musical instruments that are donated to schools and youth music groups. Each item is stamped with the Armory of Harmony logo and we have carefully tracked and documented the metal as it gets a new lease on life.
