Doctor Bee is an insulin carrying drone which is connected to the patient and caregiver through a common app. It has a motor which runs on wifi and internal stored/reserve battery power. The insulin is stored in Doctor Bee’s belly in the form of insulin patches, which get deposited on the body of the patient at regular intervals. The camera in the bee helps it to direct its movement towards the patient and through motion sensors doctor bee detects the consent given by the patient ( in the form of a clap, a twitch or any easily performed movement) and administers insulin to the patient. The app plays a crucial role because it continuously updates the patient and caregiver about its movements, status of activities being performed and updates on insulin levels as well. If the insulin patches in its detachable belly are about to get over, it sounds an alert to the connected network of the patient and the caregiver.
