Manuela Korecka (born in 1994 in Szczecin) - a student of the third year of Fashion Design at the Academy of Art in Szczecin. Designer of clothing, footwear and jewelry. Her projects focus on sustainability in fashion. Her field of work is recycling, searching for alternative textiles, also using biomaterials and projects involved in improving the world around us. She is inspired by nature and the environment and their interdependence with the human body.

1000 ml is designed to send help for those in need in harsh environment.
“The 1000 ml” is addressed to solve problems occurring to refugees, people migrating in difficult conditions and victims of natural disasters. The main problem which they are struggling with are the lack of access of drinkable water and food, outdoor sleeping as well as long distance walk and carrying belongings in nonfunctional plastic bags.
A backpack jacket is made of impregnated weatherproof fabric. To serve as immediate aid for those in need: offering basic outer garment, facilitated luggage-carrying and
easy access to clean water. The backpack jacket is packed in a bottle which, when emptied, can be used for storing water or food or as a container to purify contaminated water (the set includes tablets to make the water fit for consumption).
The set contains a backpack jacket, a bottle and a blister pack of 10 tablets.
