Reborn Board
Instead of incineration, we turned non-recycled clothes into a new material.
While only a small percentage of eliminated clothes can be recycled, the majority of them are directly incinerated or landfilled, causing enormous amount of waste and pollution.
Knowing the limitations of current recycling solutions, we decided that a new, sustainable and recyclable solution is needed to stop waste clothes being burnt to ashes.
We found a press-forming technology that turns non-recyclable clothes into boards. Just like composite building boards, they can be made into a variety of necessary objects in our daily life – furniture, decorations, materials for public infrastructures...or anything creative and fun.
Proven press-forming technology allows mass manufacture, and finished boards appear differently according to the color and texture of the fabrics they’re made from, when a specific need comes up, different styled works can meet different artistic requirements.
