Domino Shelf
Domino shelf is thought to be produced locally and for a compact - but possible to grow - living.
Different configurations can be made by stacking modules that comprise the Domino shelf, created by Estúdio Greta. The modules can be used individually or grouped with others, in infinite combinations. It is a system designed for a compact living, but with the ability to grow, expanding its possibilities. The intent of the studio, which creates furniture with digital fabrication to be produced locally, is to explore the technologies embedded in the industry 4.0 concept and, at the same time, propose a dialogue with daily life objects - mass made by the traditional industry. Thereby, in a fun manner, shelves have holes to embrace vessels, cups or any other kind of objects that people want to store and interact with. In addition, the shelves are removable, which makes it possible to change the furniture configuration. It is part of the research line of the studio into transmutable objects, which enables many usage possibilities and in different stages of life in the urban context.
