Chilote Shoes
The Chilote Shoes disruptive co-creation model empowers women makers in Patagonia.
The Chilote Shoes disruptive co-creation model empowers women makers to maintain their unique culture in Patagonia.
The company operations are completely distributed and integrated by design into the participants' lifestyles. This human network creates an organic value chain of sourcing, crafting, consolidation, and distribution connecting independent women makers to ethical consumers worldwide.
The business model and strategic design of the project leverages renewable local materials, a unique existing craft capability, and a life-centered co-creation approach. Each pair is made “slow” with care and pride by a growing network of independent women doing what they know & love – knitting.
Through our B Corp. certification, we are able to measure the positive impact of our model that empowers a diversified, resilient and healthy co-evolution between people, planet and business.
