BIG HEART DATA
Big Heart Data is a digital system for creating personalised digital and 3d printed models of hearts
Each human heart has a unique anatomy, which is affected by factors such as age, environment, genetics and disease. What if you could observe your own heart and identify what maximises your health and quality of life?
In collaboration with Kings College, Cellule studio has created ‘Big Heart Data’, a project exploring cardiac simulation technologies and its potential impact in a patient-centred healthcare system. The main concept is a digital system for creating personalised digital and 3D-printed models of hearts, enabling clinicians to anticipate future heart health and patients to understand their unique anatomies.
This collaboration between design and medicine paves the way on what is a preferable future of health and surgery. ‘Big Heart Data’ has a big potential to radically transform the way we engage with and understand cardiac health, facilitating the shift towards a more personalized and tailored healthcare system.
Nominated for HealthTech Innovation of the year.
