MINE REGENERATION
This design focuses on the full cycle of ecological restoration of abandoned coal mine.
This design focuses on the discussion of the vitality regression of resource-based mining areas, and the full cycle of ecological restoration from the initiation, growth and maturity of the community to the breeding, cultivation and restoration of the coupling ecological recovery. After the community being mature, residents' residences, visitor centers and rehabilitation laboratories are combined to realize the vitality regression of the generalized community.
The main building is located in the center of the coal mine, connected with the outside world by three belt roads. From the top down, it is the visitor center, the residential community and the mixed area of the rehabilitation laboratory, and the soil remediation sphere. The vegetation restoration principle designed by Permaculture is used to cultivate and restore the soil in this area, and bring people and economic industries back, so as to achieve the expected effect of the revival of coal mining communities.
