The design looks at a simple product like a seat and turns it around into something that is more playful and personal. A pencil could be a plane for one child and a serpent for another. Children see the same object in multiple ways, and it seems but logical to create something that allowed for the varied perception of a piece of furniture. Building a hint of dynamics in the seat and using the different postures and their anthropometrics for the various edges of the product was the key to this design. It uses an eco-friendly material (BIRCH PLY), very minimalistic produced through CNC cutting and polishing. The seat is flat-packed and is snap fit without any fasteners or glue.
