AN@TOMEDIA Online
Improving global healthcare through accessible human body education
Mastering anatomy (structure of the human body) is a global challenge affecting 15 million health practitioners, anatomy teachers and students. It requires integration of vast textual and visual information, often with limited access to real human material and experienced, multidisciplinary teachers. Dissection facilities and specimens are also costly, with many barriers to access, including remote location and religious, cultural or ethical reasons.
AN@TOMEDIA Online provides global access to quality, interactive materials required for effective learning and clinical practice, without the potential health risks and environmental impact of embalmed cadavers. The intuitive interface enables simple navigation of complex anatomical systems and regions, while its educational basis encourages deep understanding. The design incorporates advances in anatomical research, medical imaging and surgical interventions, so that everyone can have 24/7 access to current content.
