The Kartus strollers is headed by Philip Oligny, a master's student at the School of Design of Université Laval. Philip completed a degree in mechanical engineering at the Université de Sherbrooke. He's animated by a deep desire to make a difference in society. Philip enjoys all kinds of challenges and is definitely never short of creative ideas. He's always on the lookout for what's new in the world and loves to find solutions to what we might see as an obstacle or a problem.

Kartus chairs : sharing the joy of running and sharing the great outdoors.
It reduces loneliness, helps creating new social circles and promotes inclusiveness in the outdoors.
The mission of the Kartus running strollers is to create meaningful experiences, connect people through unique activities, enable new types of adventures, raise awareness of people with reduced mobility or people facing loneliness, and to promote human centered design as well as positive design. We offer a specialized product that enables families, friends and even strangers to share a unique moment in the outdoors. Our users can participate in running events, and experience the energy and the ecstasy of such events. They can also use our equipment to walk in parks and other outdoor venue. There is a lot of research regarding mental and physical well-being, as well as the positive impact on cognitive functions, in regards to having a good social circle, of experiencing the outdoors and greenery. We believe that our product is best suited for all those benefits.
