I'M / Inhalable Matter
I’M / Inhalable Matter is a symbiosis of philosophy, nature, biology and technologies.
All plants in the true forest are connected in a “wood wide web” with their roots linked by different types of mycelium. It’s very important for them to live as a community to be healthy.
Nowadays, it became clear that urban footprint is going far beyond city boundaries: they consume many earth’s resources thus leaving less space for nature to thrive.
I’M / Inhalable Matter is a synthesis of different technologies and can be a required revision for existing spaces that could be added to the dense cities as an additional layer.
With the help of plants, it purifies the air, humidifies and creates an environment good for people. All plants are interconnected with mycorrhizal networks to be healthier. Moreover, I’M sensors track air quality such as humidity and temperature to adjust system performance and read plant bio-impulses to convert them into feedback.
We hope that I’M would help to change the future of the built environment and reconnect humans and plants.
