Umbilical Care is an L-shaped silicon cord clip used to test the bacterial infection at baby’s cord.
Umbilical Care is an L-shaped silicon cord clip used to test the bacterial infection at baby’s cord. Via the “histamine testing sticker” attached on a hollow chamber of Umbilical Care which can react with the histamine produced by bacteria, medical staff and mothers can deal with cord infection when an orange sad face is shown. It is an efficient way to prevent infection and reduce the staff’s burden. The L-shaped design allows staff to measure the safety distance to chip on, which makes the operation efficient and makes extra room for Umbilical Arterial Catheter operation in the future.
