A solution to help amputees chage their life and accept their new life situation
Seeing how people look at at amputees, with a hint of pitty and pinch of deterrence, and thinking to themselves "Oh poor soul, I hope he doesn't suffer", "I'm glad thats not me!" & "Did you see that, he didn't have a leg!?"
How amputees are being put in a box along with other physical and psycologially handicapped people, and continually being told that "You can't do that" & "Do you need special assisatance?"
I set out to dig in to the procedure of loosing a part of yourself, that will never grow back.
I found that amputees are in fact not only capable of achieving the most amazing goals eventhough they have a physical hindrance, they're also set to proove that they can still live as others
I've developed a set of accessory fairings that can be personalized to fit the wearer and attached to the prosthetic base, giving the person a feeling of gaining a part of themselves back and a chance to show to the world who they really are - Fearless survivors of accidents, diseases or war
