Bednet connects Flemish children with a long-term or chronic illness and aged between 6 and 18, with their class via Internet. This means they are able to follow lessons during their absence and to stay in contact with their teachers and classmates. Bednet is free for participating schools and children and is gradually being extended to cover all children with a long-term illness in Flanders/Belgium.
