Sohan
Sohan is a smart navigation assistant for the blind and visually impaired.
Sohan is a smart navigation assistant for the blind and visually impaired, providing a convenient and accessible way for them to navigate from one point to another. It also allows their guardians to track the whereabouts of the visually impaired individuals they are linked with in real-time. It also offers other features, in order to make the experience of both parties more seamless, such as the presence of the chat and SOS functionalities. All this is made possible with the wonderful integration of three (3) different technology platforms, namely: web, mobile, and wearable.
Currently, systems similar to this exist outside of the Philippines, however, our system aims to be the first to target the Philippine market, and hopes to provide relief to the many visually impaired individuals facing the horrors of commuting or navigating alone. Sohan is currently in its post-development stages, which means that the system is being optimized for a better experience.
