Most kitchenware is designed with the nuclear family in mind, however increasingly people live in shared households or on their own and consequently cook and eat alone. Due to a lack of space, time and witnesses interesting improvised behaviours emerge. MEaltime proposes a modular and versatile kitchenware system that supports these unconventional behaviours and product reappropriations through objects that transform to accommodate different steps in the cooking process. It saves washing up, space, time and effort. MEaltime gives permission to behaviours that could be considered as a breach of etiquette.
