VIA
Baby Monitoring System for High-Risk Newborns
VIA is a home monitoring system specially designed for the needs of high-risk newborns between one and six months old. It measures vital functions and helps parents to recognize an apparent life-threatening event early enough to start the necessary reanimation measures. VIA should be seen as an unobtrusive, helping friend rather than a typical medical device. It consists of a sensor, a belt made of 100% cotton, a monitor and an inductive charging station. Step-by-step instructions in the packaging guide parents through the start-up and operation of the device. The intuitive and easily understandable handling renders extensive training unnecessary. Thanks to its flexible material, VIA‘s wireless sensor unit fits gently onto sensitive skin. With a mounting strap, the monitor can easily be fastened to any stroller, crib, etc. The main indicator is a pulsating light that lets parents know if everything is fine with their child.
