E-Orbe
Card game to teach children between the age of 8 and 9 about renewable energy inside the classroom.
Chile is a favored country when it comes to renewable energy thanks to its variety of different climates. Little by Little the implementation of these types of energy sources has grown significantly and it’s expected that by the year 2030 73% of electric energy will be renewable.
The Chilean population is aware of the damage that the non-renewable energy causes to the environment, however they ignore basic information about this topic. For this reason the Agencia Chilena de Eficiencia Energética (AchEE) promotes the education about the use and care of our energy so the climate change and its consequences can be reduce.
E-Orbe, is a card game for kids between 8 to 9 years old, a age when children are capable to connect different ideas and concepts. This way we’re able to teach them about renewable energy through playing.
We want those children to become the leaders when it comes to the use of renewable energy in the future, the be able to take care of our energy and the environment.
