Children Centered Care Kolding Hospital
The child in the center
Every year, about 2,500 children are stunned before a scan. It happens to calm the children so they can keep calm during scanning.
With the "Child-Friendly Scanning" project, the X-ray Department at Kolding Hospital will develop and test a Children Centered Care approach for children aged 4-10 years who will reduce the number of anesthetics of children, thus avoiding anaesthetic-related genes and risks, and delivering high quality in the X-rays for children.
The project is supported by, among other things, the Tryg Fund with a total of 3 million. kr
