Epi-Aid
Epi-Aid is an easy-to-use seizure medication for children who suffer from acute seizures.
1 in 3 people with epilepsy have poor dental records. 20% of people who take the epilepsy medication course, fail it. 42% of seizure deaths are avoidable. Epilepsy is the most common neurological disease in the UK. Developed with leading health care professionals to create a safe, intuitive and secure medication. Epi-Aid is 90% more sustainable than disposable syringes. Epi-Aid incorporates a mouth guard allowing for teeth protection whilst having a seizure also providing an access point to deliver the medication. A more intuitive and less intimidating way to deliver the oral sedative. Taken the designer to 2 global design awards (Upstyle Award in Shanghai) and secured him in the design councils top 5 product designers in the UK.
