Q.rad
Q.rad is a sustainable fusion of an electrical heater and a high-performance computing server
Data centers already use 3% of worldwide electricity. It is urgent to start tackling the
environmental impact of IT. When Qarnot uses computations wasted heat in buildings, it reduces by more than 75% their carbon footprint.
Q.rad is the first computing heater embedding microprocessors as a heat source and connected to the Internet. The Q.rad is a system with high inertia and produces a high quality “soft” heat, as opposed to electrical convectors. The heat produced is homogeneous and stable, distributed evenly throughout the room, ensuring maximum comfort and a gentle feeling comparable to that of central heating.
A Q.rad can heat up a 150 to 300 sq. Avoiding the use of cooling systems makes the Q.rad a 100% sustainable heating solution
