The goal was to create a product from natural raw materials which are considered waste. In fact leaves are perfectly recycled in nature, but in our cities they are constantly thrown away. These Lamps are 100% handmade and consist of fallen leaves, natural additives and a biological resin which has a much smaller impact on nature than conventional resins. Wooden moulds are used for casting, clad only with a thin layer of silicone and are reusable. The result: a lamp that combines craftsmanship, quality, design and sustainability. Each of these lamps is unique in composition and light, colored only by the leaves used in production. At the moment there are 3 different sizes of the lampshades available and the first series is being produced in autumn 2017. "LAAB" is a welcoming change to traditional plastic products in our throwaway society. The target group are people who not only value the aesthetics of the lamp, but also consciously decide to buy a sustainable product.
