Orja
An open source energy movement that redefines the means of universal energy access for the future.
Orja' is an open source energy movement that through a decentralised intervention, redefines the means of universal energy access. It is meant to help remote societies transition to a more "real" and tangible renewable energy future. In its early form it is deployed as a "DIT: do it together" floating wind farm that reconnects the notion of energy back to its natural source. In later years, our understanding of energy systems evolves into a form of holistic symbiosis. 'Orja' then transforms into an algal and microbial fuel cell that nurtures energy loops of our future biomes into a symbiotic energy paradigm.
Orja therefore is an attempt at redefining energy in the spirit of solidarity, community, regenerative systems and closed loops. For creating energy using means and processes that to make it more real and more relevant than just flipping a magic switch.
