Clickeat
Replaces plastic utensils at the same cost and makes evident its previous use. It is also stackable.
Clickeat was created in Chile, though it is patented internationally (Including China, the US, Canada and others), It's design though might look simple solves a number of issues in the disposable cutlery industry which has very little innovation and is cost driven. Clickeat is a laminar surface that once separated becomes two or more pieces of cutlery (Spoon, knife and/or Fork). This design makes any previous use of the utensils evident which is something that is unseen in the food industry. It is also Stackable so it saves space in any dinning room, fast food restaurant or coffee shop. But the most important feature is that it is made 100% out of sustainably harvested wood (FSC certified) and because of its design, by lowering the waste material in the manufacturing process, it costs about the same that plastic utensils making them a very effective alternative to plastic hence helping to reduce plastic pollution globally.
