Freshwater
Provides purified water from the atmosphere for isolated communities in Chile.
In Latin America and the Caribbean, about 34 million people do not have access to safe drinking water sources, and in Chile, around 540 rural communities, home to more than 195,000 people, are deprived of the necessary networks for water supply, and must depend on third parties to obtain this resource. To address this problem, a group of Chilean professionals devised Freshwater, a technology that allows to obtain purified water from the atmosphere using a household electric source, or through its own battery or solar source. This is a Plug and Play solution, which through the use of sensors and a microcomputer, provides an efficient energy consumption to obtain between 9 to 28 liters of purified water per day, unlimited and without expiration in time, without sodium or Preservatives, without metals or chemicals, making it ideal for areas where water is scarce or of poor quality.
