Mahjong is a traditional game that Hong Kong people enjoy in gatherings. It is chosen as the theme to represent Hong Kong culture in this Hong Kong style restaurant. Circle tiles is a recurring motif; different shades of green also resemble Mahjong tiles subtly. Ceiling spotlights are made from large cooking funnels, which can be adjusted freely to create lighting effects. In Mahjong, there are many combinations in the number of tiles, this is reflected in the grouping of spotlights and mosaic hexagonal floor patterns. Two-seater folding chairs are custom-made with reference to traditional Hong Kong metal folding chairs. The designers have also added zinc to the design, a common material of local daily commodities, decorated by red and blue strokes, main colors on Mahjong tiles. Specially designed bags are hung on the walls to hold menus and publications. Large round magnets on the main wall enable customers to interact and have fun, and also hang jackets and bags.
