Intervention on the chilean bill´s paper using a code to help the unseeing population.
For the chilean people using their coins and bills is a daily task, where they don't have any problem to identify its value, but almost 4 hundred thousand people (ENDISC 2004) suffers of visual disabilities, making this daily task a huge problem for them. Nowadays the bills have a tactile intaglio mark that helps them to recognize the bills value, but this mark gets off easily with the use of the bill.
The main objective of this project is to solve the problem described before with a long term solution, so the unseeing population can overcome this task using a tactile code which provides them the value of the bill.
Therefore this project intents to make an intervention on the chilean bill´s paper using a code that corresponds to circular perforations on the paper, which will symbolize through the number of perforations the designated quantity that will represent each bill.
The code that will be used will be sequential, going from minor to major.
