Physical limitations don’t necessarily mean a limited life. All that is needed is a new perspective – and Argentine Pitu Blazquez is happy to provide that lift in life. A total of 5.1 million people with physical disabilities are living in the South American country. The well-known acrobat helps others to understand the challenges they face in everyday life by running an acrobatics school for people with disabilities in his Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires studio. An unnamed student pointed to how rare it is for people with disabilities to find something geared toward them: “Nothing is built with disabled people in mind. They don’t think [about it].”
