The Hazard Forewarn System is a technical communication and alert system deployed by an organizations operational department to inform them of future danger concerning low-clearances such as bridges or overpasses and accidents or road-closures. The systems comprises of event detection, geo- location and telecommunication technologies and when executed can prevent the loss of life and reduce the economic and material impact of tragedies. The Hazard Forewarn System is a timely surveillance system that monitors accident prone areas and alerts/warning are triggered by the deployer entering a pre-established vicinity such as a road, building, bridge or overpass and in turn are delivered an alert/warning. Its purpose is to enable the deployer of the Hazard Forewarn System to prepare for the danger associated with striking a low clearance and act accordingly to avoid it. The Hazard Forewarn System provides a constant state of preparedness and effectively alerts and warns the deployer.
