Using smart sensors to optimise waste operations while reducing traffic congestion & C02 footprint.
Waste is a huge problem that affects everyone in the world. We globally spend over $1 trillion / year in waste and 50% of that is logistics. Despite this, cities and waste operators still struggle to keep cities clean and still make a viable business out of it. By using smart sensors inside waste bins, we are able to remotely monitor the amount of waste and generate optimised pickup routes with turn-by-turn navigation. Furthermore the system learns overtime peoples behaviours and patterns, as well predict fill levels by correlating with nearby events, weather conditions etc and perform preemptive pickups to further optimise waste pickup processes. Nordsense is the first company that finally makes it affordable to deploy this solution at very large scale and no upfront investment in order to incentivise all actors to start making Smart Cities, instead of talking about it.
