Founded in 2012, Lucky Iron Fish is a growing social enterprise with big aspirations: to wipe out iron deficiency, which affects 3.5 people billion globally and can result in anemia, weakness, impaired cognition, and illness, particularly in women and children. Lucky Iron Fish is a carefully formulated and designed cooking cast iron fish, a symbol of luck in Cambodia where it was first introduced. It’s easy-to-use, cost-effective and proven – clinical trials show it reduces iron deficiency, without adverse side effects like iron pills.
