C-SENSE
This bike handle communicates with your smartphone to increase traffic safety and help you navigate.
Combined with a rear-facing sensor, the handles are sound and light enabled to warn the cyclist against dangerous situations and guide her to her destination. Core-part and brain of the product is the cyclists smart-phone. Handles and sensor are connected to it via Bluetooth to transmit all relevant data. Facing the fact that a lot of people use headphones in traffic despite the risks, audio signals for navigation and warnings are played back on headphones connected to the smartphone. Using the smartphones GPS, a large number of features are conceivable. Starting from simple turn-by-turn navigation to crowd-sourced maps with any kind of location based information for cyclists.
