The mineproof insole is the result of combining a geometrical pattern designed to deflect shock waves, and a composite material capable of absorb energy and stop high-speed fragments; both inspired in how nature protects animals from high energy impacts from their predators. This design is the result of 4 years of research and development in armoring and biomimetics. Tests performed by the Colombian Army had shown that this product works against the most common types of antipersonal landmines. The design of the insole gives it the ability to work in all kinds of shoes, so soldiers, farmers, children, or anyone in risk can wear it. The language of the product makes easy to use, since the shape shows how it should be placed inside the shoe, having the extra ability to protect from either side in case of misplacement by the user. It is manufactured at the minimum cost possible, so it can be mass produced by using the best materials available in order to lasts for long periods of time.
